I am not resigned to the loss of the ancestral home of the Dakini teachings, but today I am contemplating -- without flinching -- the stupidity of the Pakistani government, which has surrendered Swat Valley to the Taliban in exchange for a 10-day (!!!) cease-fire.

The name of the Taliban leader in the Swat Valley is Maulana Sufi Mohammed (irony of ironies); here is an image, which I recommend you consider with a full heart. Be generous with your regard. Nothing disorganizes dickless wonders like a wave of lovingkindness.

The Swat Valley (currently in Pakistan, but traditionally Kashmiri) is the geographical birthplace and anchor of the Dakini teachings. It has been taken over by the Taliban in the last three months; the only resistance movement so far was briefly led by a Sufi mullah, who was beheaded about two weeks ago.
